Joseph Martin Kraus (1756-1792) was born in Germany and came to Sweden in 1778. He was later to become a leading figure in Stockholm musical life during the reign of Gustav III. Kraus was a talented composer of operas, symphonies, chamber music, songs, and keyboard music. This text is about the keyboard instruments made in Stockholm during his lifetime.
